Eletta at ESS, European Spallation Source in Lund Sweden

2022-04-26 by Elisabet Lennström

The ESS (European Spallation Source) under construction outside of the city of Lund in Sweden, has joined so many other scientific neutron accelerator laboratories around the world, by choosing one or the most robust and reliable flow control devices one can find, The Eletta Flow Monitor.

In order to be able to cope with the harsh environment of radioactivity and magnetic radiation which can occur during the scientists experiments, you need to use an extremely reliable Flow Monitor. The expensive electromagnetic coils which are there to accelerate the neutrons, needs to be kept cool and the cooling water will now be supervised and controlled by Eletta Monitors. The European Spallation Source is one of the largest science and technology infrastructure projects being built today.

By securing an order of +3MSEK consisting of more than 330 instruments from Eletta, we have once again proven our capability to stand up to the special and hard requirements from a very demanding customer.
